Hollywood Lights, Nashville Nights - Diana Goodman

Diana Goodman had a role in the American TV show Hee Haw. A crazy but hugely popular entertainment program filled with country music and humor. Over the years many big stars were guests in this program. Film stars, politicians but of course also many popular artists from the music world. Elvis was a big fan of this program. For the humor, and especially for the endless list of musical guests over the years. Among other things, Dolly Parton released her song I Will Always Love You in this program. A song which Elvis had liked to record. At one point Diana had the chance to meet Elvis. Since Elvis did love handsome ladies in his company, she was offered the opportunity to accompany Elvis to film nights in Memphis. It even happened that Elvis asked Diana to go on tour with him. Diana Goodman wrote with Victoria Hallman a book about their experiences with many famous stars from Hollywood and Nashville. Much of this book is devoted to the experiences between Diana and Elvis. Each book is personally signed by Diana and each book contains a separate photo which is also signed by her.
