The Danish Memphis Mansion Label brought another gem to the market. A double LP by the Million Dollar Quartet. The recordings have, indeed, been released several times. Recent and less recent. This time, however, the team of Hendrik Knudsen made a very nice release of it. A colored photo on the cover, a folding sleeve with photos and a short explanation of the four artists and the complete track list at the back. As an extra, a 12-page booklet in LP format is enclosed with more photos and info about the songs. And the vinyls in a beautiful color of course. In addition, each copy is individually numbered.
Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together at the Sun Studio on Union Avenue in Memphis on December 4, 1956. Now these legendary recordings on a very handsome double LP release.
