Elvis Back In Nashville - 2 LP Black Vinyl-Set
A new release was announced during Elvis Week 2021 in Memphis : 'Elvis Back In Nashville'. As a follow-up to the highly successful 2020 release 'From Elvis In Nashville'. This newly announced release was recorded at Studio B in Nashville. In the spring of 1971. The recordings started on March 15th. Spread over a few sessions, these recordings would not be completed until June 10. RCA was in urgent need of new recordings. And had specific wishes. Especially a Christmas album. Elvis, however, was more concerned with folk music that period. And that is clearly noticeable in the songs that were recorded in the first place. In the end, quite a lot of songs were recorded. These were released on several albums: 'Elvis Sings The Wonderful World Of Christmas', the Grammy winner 'He Touched Me', 'Elvis Now' and 'Elvis' (The Fool Album). 'Elvis Back In Nashville' will be released as a 4 CD Box Set and a 2 LP Set. On these releases the recordings can be heard without the later added overdubs. So Elvis as he sounded in the studio. Pure and impressive. This release will complete your collection once more!
