Elvis I Found My Thrill In Vegas 2 CD Set - Panther Records Label

The autumn of 1973 was a difficult time for Elvis. Health problems – likely exacerbated by his divorce from Priscilla, which was particularly painful for him – played a role in this. It is therefore all the more remarkable that he delivered such fantastic recording sessions in December 1973 at the Stax Studio in Memphis. This positive flow continued during his stay in Las Vegas in January and February 1974. Elvis' shows during this period were characterized by an upbeat atmosphere and genuine enthusiasm for performing. Although there was slightly less interaction with the audience between songs, this did not detract from the overall high quality of the concerts. Two truly outstanding performances took place on February 7 (the Dinner Show and the Midnight Show). Although the Dinner Show was released on CD seventeen years ago, the Midnight Show has never been released on CD before. That is why this previously unreleased show is now included on this new double CD. As always with Panther Records, the recordings have been remastered using state-of-the-art technology and feature excellent, clear audio, recorded directly by the audience.
