As part of its ongoing sessions series, FTD is pleased to released : Elvis Presley - The Blue Hawaii Sessions. Released as a 4-CD set, it contains the entire soundtrack sessions, remixed from the original 3-song session tapes. The 24-page booklet contains informative flashbacks from musicians and songwriters. session data, memorabilia and global map information.
The original album spent 20 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Pop LPs chart. Nominated for a Grammy Award in 1961, it became the second most successful soundtrack album of the 1960s, losing to West Side Story!
