Born the daughter of an American myth and raised in the wilds of Graceland, Lisa Marie Presley was never truly understood… until now. Before her death in 2023, she worked for years on her raw, compelling, unique memoir, recording countless hours of breathtakingly vulnerable material, which has now finally been put to paper by her daughter, Riley Keough.

This intimate story reveals deep insights into generations of the Presley family, with 85 percent of the book written in Lisa Marie's own voice and Riley filling the voids from her own memory and the memories of those closest to her mother. The bond between Lisa Marie and her father Elvis Presley is discussed, as are Lisa Marie's love life and marriages to Michael Jackson, among others, and motherhood and the devastating loss of her son, Riley's brother, to suicide. The memoir is not only a beautiful, deeply moving and revealing story of mother and daughter, but also the most intimate look into the Presley family to date using previously unpublished material.

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, was a singer and songwriter. Well-known albums are To Whom It May Concern, Now What and Storm & Grace. She passed away in January 2023. Riley Keough is an award-winning actress, known for Daisy Jones & The Six, Zola and more. She is co-director of War Pony and co-founder of the production company Felix Culpa. She is the eldest daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and the sole trustee/trustee of Graceland.
