A legendary and controversial concert
On September 2, 1974, Elvis concluded his tour at the Las Vegas Hilton with a show that would go down in history as one of his most controversial. While the performance was musically strong and compelling, Elvis repeatedly veered off course during the concert, delving into lengthy dialogue, personal outbursts, and sometimes unusual, fierce remarks. This is precisely what makes the recording a unique and compelling document of that period.
For the first time ever, the original recording has been fully remastered and mixed in stereo, making the show come to life with even more intensity and power.
The CD's accompanying booklet features rare photographs, along with background information and liner notes that place the evening in its historical context.
