The Memphis Recording Service (MRS) label has announced another release. Three previously released CD sets are now brought together in one extensive box set: Elvis – The Showroom Experience 1973: Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe.
This new edition contains no less than 7 CDs and bundles the well-known titles Las Vegas – On Stage 1973 (4CD), At 3AM – Lake Tahoe 1973 (2CD), and Las Vegas – Closing Night 1973 (1CD). This gives you a complete picture of Elvis in 1973, a year in which he belonged to the absolute top of his live performances in both Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe.
The recordings were made during his engagements at the Las Vegas Hilton and the Sahara Tahoe and feature Elvis in top form, from regular shows to special moments such as the rare 3AM charity performance.
Each set contains an extensive booklet with rare photos, memorabilia, and detailed liner notes.
For those who do not yet own these earlier releases, this is the perfect moment to acquire them in one complete and beautifully designed box set. For collectors who already own the individual CDs, there will be little new to report in terms of content, although the new compilation and presentation still make this release attractive.
