British quality label Memphis Recording Service (MRS) announces another special edition for the true Elvis collector. In June 2025, the release 'Las Vegas – Down In The Alley – Opening Night 1974' will be released on both CD Deluxe and 2LP Gatefold (available in black and transparent vinyl).

This release features Elvis' complete opening show from August 19, 1974 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, at the start of his eleventh season in Sin City. For the first time, this original recording has been remastered and mixed in stereo, creating a unique listening experience of this historic concert.

What's special about this show is the strikingly renewed setlist, with songs like Down in the Alley, Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues, It's Midnight and If You Talk in Your Sleep. Fans of the classics will also get their money's worth with songs like Polk Salad Annie, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Can't Help Falling in Love.

The release is accompanied by a handsome booklet featuring rare photos and memorabilia from the show, as well as liner notes that place the concert in context.
