FTD announces deluxe box set " The Making of GI Blues"

The label Follow That Dream (FTD), in collaboration with the Norwegian Flaming Star fan club, has announced the release of the deluxe box set The Making of GI Blues , scheduled for December 2025.

FTD Books proudly presents The Making of GI Blues – a special 65th anniversary edition, released in a limited, individually numbered deluxe collector's box.

Book 1 – The Making of GI Blues: The Movie
A deluxe 384-page hardcover coffee table book, packed with rare, newly discovered photographs. It also includes extensive information on deleted scenes, original script pages, shooting schedules, memos, contracts, and personal recollections from the cast and crew.

Book 2 – The Music
An 84-page book with photos, documents and detailed information about the recording sessions.

Music and extras
The box set contains five CDs with – for the first time – the complete soundtrack recordings of Elvis Presley's film GI Blues , direct from the original 3-track tapes, in stereo and in chronological recording order.

The set also includes a special 33RPM vinyl double EP with a picture sleeve.

Everything is stylishly packaged in a luxury slipcase, individually numbered.
