Good news for everyone who missed out on the special book set FTD World 1999-2025 last year. The publisher has decided to reprint the successful two-part set.

The books were released in late 2025, and interest proved to be exceptionally high from the very beginning. So high, in fact, that ultimately not all ordered copies could be delivered. As a result, ElvisMatters also received fewer sets than ordered, which unfortunately meant we had to disappoint a number of customers.

Because it was clear that many collectors were still eager to add these books to their collections, we immediately asked the publisher at the time to look into the possibility of a reprint. We have since brought this wish to their attention several times. There is now good news: the reprint is coming!

This gives collectors who missed this release the opportunity to still get their hands on this set.

FTD World 1999-2025, compiled by David Ward and Atsushi Nakamura, makes for a fine reference work on Follow That Dream Records, Sony Music's official collector's label for Elvis Presley.

The two-part set brings together the hundreds of FTD releases since the label's inception in 1999 in a clear and organized manner. Studio outtakes, live recordings, rehearsals and private recordings, Classic Albums, soundtracks, books, Sessions releases, and other FTD releases are featured extensively.

The books are richly illustrated and contain, in addition to information about the various releases, catalogue numbers, release dates, tracklists, session information, covers, and numerous images of special editions and promotional material.

The content of the reprint will be virtually identical to that of the original edition. However, the publisher is taking the opportunity to make a few minor adjustments. Furthermore, the new edition is supplemented with a brief mention of the FTD releases from 2026 that were released after the publication of the original books.

This way, this reprint immediately becomes a bit more up-to-date again.

The first print run has shown how great the interest in these books is worldwide. Therefore, this time we want to try to bring enough copies to the Netherlands and Belgium, so that we hopefully do not have to disappoint anyone.
