We recently reported on the impressive new FTD release Soldier Boy – 53 310 761, the extensive 4CD and book box set entirely dedicated to Elvis's army years. Now, the Follow That Dream collectors' label has announced yet another new release.
FTD Vinyl is releasing a special reissue of Promised Land – The Companion Album on July 13. It is an individually numbered, limited 2LP edition on beautiful Translucent Claret Vinyl, featuring a newly designed sleeve.
The original edition was released as early as May 2012 and is now one of the harder-to-find FTD vinyl releases. At the time, interest in vinyl was considerably lower than it is today, which is why many older FTD releases currently fetch high prices on the collector's market.
With this reissue, FTD wants to give new collectors the chance to finally add one of the most beloved Companion Albums to their collection. The new edition retains the exclusive character of the original thanks to the individual numbering and the beautiful colored vinyl pressing.
