Het Memphis Recording Service label (MRS) heeft opnieuw een release aangekondigd. Drie eerder verschenen cd-sets worden nu samengebracht in één uitgebreide box: Elvis – The Showroom Experience 1973: Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe.
Deze nieuwe uitgave bevat maar liefst 7 cd’s en bundelt de bekende titels Las Vegas – On Stage 1973 (4CD), At 3AM – Lake Tahoe 1973 (2CD) en Las Vegas – Closing Night 1973 (1CD). Daarmee krijg je een compleet beeld van Elvis in 1973, een jaar waarin hij zowel in Las Vegas als Lake Tahoe tot de absolute top van zijn live-performances behoorde.
De opnames zijn gemaakt tijdens zijn engagementen in het Las Vegas Hilton en de Sahara Tahoe en laten Elvis horen in topvorm, van reguliere shows tot bijzondere momenten zoals de zeldzame 3AM charity performance.
Elke set bevat een uitgebreid boekje met zeldzame foto’s, memorabilia en gedetailleerde liner notes.
Voor wie deze eerdere releases nog niet in huis heeft, is dit hét moment om ze alsnog te bemachtigen in één complete en fraai vormgegeven boxset.
