FTD announced a new live CD, scheduled for September of this year: "Elvis The Last Tours Vol 1". It concerns a 4 CD set in the 5" digipak format. The set contains recordings from 1977 from several places: West Palm Beach (Feb 13), St. Petersburg (Feb 14), Montgomery (Feb 16), Columbia (Feb 18), Johnson City (Feb 19) and Charlotte (Feb 20/21). The sound engineer had a tape running and these recordings are now quickly available on the esteemed FTD-Label. Unfortunately only recorded in mono. Since FTD speaks in its subtitle about Vol 1, there is hope for more recordings from this period in the future. But for now, look forward to this new release!
